It's a straight fight between Malcolm Mussen against Jawah Gerang for the vacant Batang Ai DUN seat N29. This is according to our constitution after the sudden demised of incumbent, Dublin Unting.
Last Sun 29th Mar, was the Nomination Day and by 12 noon it was announced Johnny Chuat had "given" up an idea of challenging both of them.
However, Johnny decided to lend his support to the PKR, which received an enormous booster ahead of polling day.
It's a "hot seat" for the ruling BN, definitely no easy passage for the "newcomer" into politics. This is like going through "baptism of fire" for Malcolm.
Best of luck to him. Sentiments on the ground is very vocal about BN, especially the land issues, Salcra. It's getting too hot to handle for some of the folks, there.
Johnny most certainly made both parties sweat profusely and it was a huge relief for the MB for Selangor, when Johnny decided to go for Pakatan instead.
We shall see the outcome early April. Onward we go till the next Elections???
I can't help noticing the younger generations definitely, surely moving away from BN's component parties. In LA, the signs are obviously there for all to see. As they paraded across town with banners, placards with messages written across them. The voting trend will affect the showing of the BN parties in the coming Elections.
Yes. This are worrying signs for the elected-Government of the day.
If the campigners can swing the older folks' mindset away from voting for BN, an UPSET is not impossible this time around.

Selling out one's principle for monetary gains is something we have got to live with today. Whatever the outcome, at the end of the day, we have to put food on our tables. But I will sweat till blood comes out together with my sweat.
